I definitely had more stuff planned for my last blog post.
Sorry it got cut short.
Next topic, however.
Night out with my Research Methods class.
It was... A blast.
I won't be able to do it justice in this blog, but I will definitely try.
It started out with Enrique and I walking to the SAC, which was the designated meeting spot for the night. We showed up, and realized the SAC was bigger than I thought, and we didn't have a meeting place in the SAC designated. We saw Daniella, which is always a nice thing, and then Daniel, Jacob, and Colton showed up. Melody was on her way, and Jaira would be a little late so we waited around talking, and listening to Enrique's jokes.
A magician was driving down the street. He turned into a driveway.
Yea, that was how his jokes went. Haha.
When Melody showed up we tried making our way to the roof, which we found was locked, and then went and checked out the balcony. We stood around, talking on the balcony for a little bit, before we spotted Jaira and went downstairs to meet up with her.
After meeting back up with Jaira, Ramon finally responded to my text, telling us he would be late. The group didn't want to wait, because everyone was hungry, so we told him we were going to walk toward the drag, and tell him where we went so he could meet up with us. We got to the drag, and had no idea where we were going, so we just started walking.
We couldn't decide on a place, so we decided on Kerbey Lane after much deliberation. Ramon somehow caught up to us right when we got to Kerbey Lane (He walks fast), and we found out there was a 30-45 minute wait. No one wanted to wait that long so we went to Arpeggio's Grill. It was a cool little place, and we all got our orders placed and pushed some tables together to make room for us.
Side Note:
I just found out the prices for UT's internets for next semester. They make me a mixture of frustrated and excited.
Here's the deal in case you joined in late and missed my last UT internet rant. I paid $190 extra just so I could have some internet to use for this year, and then paid $30 at the beginning of this semester so I could have enough internet so I wouldn't run out every week.
I won't mention any more prices for internet this year, but I will go on to talk about the prices for next year.
First things first, the amount of bandwidth I paid $190 extra for is now included. You don't pay extra for it. Granted, I'm not sure if it ups tuition now, or what really, but I'm happy about that.
You can get 5 times as much internet as I got this year for $35 which is about 5 times cheaper.
You can get 10 times as much internet as I got this year for $55 which is about 3 times cheaper.
You can get 15 times as much internet as I got this year for $170 which is still $20 cheaper.
Overall, UT is actually kind of learning.
Crazy!!
Anyway, back to my evening.
We got our food, ate, and talked about all manner of things. It was really nice to see everyone.
I also got challenged by Ramon and Jaira to become a K-Pop addict, so we'll see how that goes.
It's getting late, and I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff, I know. Sorry.
We later showed Melody, Jaira, and Ramon these Professor Layton videos that are semi-sorta kinda funny.
It was a very great night, and I am looking forward to the time we all decide to meet back up and do this all over again. =D
Guess what I just found...
One Youth Market Lunch/Dinner Ticket.
That is right, I still have my meal ticket from Disney last year.
Take it with me everywhere I go. How's that for reminiscing. =D
With that, I will leave you readers, and go do other nerdy things/sleep. Sound good? Good. =D
