Finals

It's nearing finals time here at the good ole U of T, and you know what that means.

Well, for most people it means cramming as much of the year's materials into their heads as possible, studying more than was studied all year, and hoping that on the day of the test you retain it all. This normal routine has yet to apply to myself.

I've spent my last few days being generally awesome, and hanging out with friends/family.

Saturday, I went with Eric, Cathy, Ricky, Corey, Will and Jacob to participate in free comic book day. Everyone except for Corey got 10 free comics, and I bought this cool old school X-Men shirt.

Then, we went to 7-11 because Corey wanted to get a slushie or something from there. After Corey, Ricky and Jacob got slushies we waited for the next bus that would take us to Amy's Ice Creams.

Once at Amy's we got us some ice cream and ate it there, while just hanging out. We had fun just spending time hanging out. When we ended up back on campus finally we went to my room to watch Attack of the Clones.

Critiquing Anakin's whining was a lot more fun than it sounds. Haha. I'm not sure if Eric heard a lot of it over the joking about Anakin. We were kinda loud.

After the show was over, we decided to go get us a late dinner, and ended up at Kerbey Lane. I got me the French Toast, like usual, and enjoyed me a fine meal, with fine company. We had a great time, and Cathy really isn't a thief. Really, she isn't! Haha.

We got back, and managed to get everyone into my room, where we played video games till late. Haha. It was a blast and we only called it a night because I had to get up in 4ish hours.

My Sunday started off with me waking up almost an hour late. I then rushed, but drove safely to get to my brother's. I ended up meeting everyone at The Gold Coat Inn.

It was a nice, quaint little place, and we ended up pulling 4 or 5 tables together for everyone who was there. I ordered some delicious French Toast, and ate so much I filled up my stomach. It was a good meal, believe you me.

From there, we went to Jessica's mom's house. We just really hung out, but it was really nice. After a while, we played Catch Phrase. After some ridiculous rule changes, we squared off, team Pitchfork vs team Bald Eagle, I think anyway.

Team Pitchfork started off slower, but had higher scoring round which shot us ahead of the Eagles. Haha. After more almost napping, we had an epic dinner with Filet Mignon, and some of the best Blueberry Cheesecake ever!

I'm now I'm back on campus, and spending just about the same amount of time preparing for tests. I know, I'm bad and should study, but I just can't. I will for Geology, and semi-review some calculus, but I can't for any of my CS stuff without stressing myself.

I was thinking about it earlier, and it made it seem more... Realistic, but I'm really almost done with my first year of college. I'm actually ok with that, it's the idea of leaving the people here that I think is slowly killing me.

I don't want to/can't spend my time holed up studying when I know I won't see these people for a few months.

I should still study, I know! I'm kind of old enough to know how I work, and how much I need to study to do well in my classes. It's not the same as other people, and I know that I need to do well, and I plan on doing my best. So, if you're worrying about me, don't. It's nice, but i'm really going to be fine.

This should be post 99, and 100 will be epic, I promise you that.
