Print "NS Google Reality"

If you're reading this than you probably heard about what happened at UT.

Well, here's the deal.
There was a "shooter" on campus today. He fired some shots at a fountain, and then ran into the Perry-Castaneda Library, where he proceeded to shoot himself. He didn't injure anyone, and everyone at UT is safe.

There's probably more to the story, and you would probably be better off checking the news and what not. I'm pretty sure he was a Sophomore Math major.

I wasn't ever really scared by the whole situation, or at least at first glance I wasn't. I generally trust that the police and everybody involved will handle the situation and keep us safe. However, I think my Criminal Minds watching had me a bit on edge. Not anything too bad in the neighborhood of freaking out. I was just a bit unnerved thinking about why everything that happened was happening, expecting there to be something everyone was missing.

Well, they let us out to go eat, after everything had basically been cleared, but they still wanted us to stay in the dorm building. Well, I was walking past, and walked past a window that looked out at the PCL, and I did one of those crazy scenario enactments in my head. I had just got done telling some people I was alright, and everything was fine, and as I walked past the window, I envisioned myself getting shot, and all I could think was that there was a whole list of people that I hadn't told I loved.

Blue of me, right? Well, I didn't get shot, and so I came away from today with one thing on my heart. That I needed to make sure I didn't feel that, ever. That if my time were to come, I would know that there wasn't any bridges I had missed the chance to mend, or even strengthen. I would want to know that I had the best relationships I could ask for, and that I wouldn't regret anything. I would want to know that I took every chance I had to express my love for the people I know, and the people I didn't know.

Only God can know why things happen, or the reason for what he does, but sometimes I think we can have a pretty good idea about what his intentions were.

Today, I think I got the message, and I don't plan on letting it go to waste.

P.S. I am so very blessed to have each and every one of you as a friend, and don't know how I'd ever get anywhere without you guys. I love you. Unconditionally, Irrevocably Love you. Thanks, for everything.

Print "NS Google Music"

I would just like to update this bad boy to say that I was walking back to my dorm today, and someone happened to be driving by with some rap music blaring.

Now, I couldn't tell you the name of the rap song, but it wasn't one of those constantly-cussing-you-out songs. It was one of those songs that Lindsey listens to. The kind that just aren't good, but they seem to be catchy. I realized when I heard it, that I miss Lindsey. I miss her awesome sistery-ness. I miss her listening to crazy rap music that I would never listen to otherwise. I miss her being the only reason I know any popular songs. I miss staying up late to watch her play Skate, because I know I wouldn't ever play that game on my own. I miss the best sister that this world has ever been graced with.

I love you Linz!

P.S. I was originally going to say:
I miss hearing Lindsey listen to that music.
I miss bugging Kelcey about her need to play Lady Gaga when Brian or I are in the car.
I miss that.
However, what I ended up writing I like a lot better.

Print "NS Google Smile"

Saturday I got to hang out with my brother, which rocked! =D

We spent a good chunk of time playing TF2, and Minecraft. Yes, we are nerds, but we are awesome! I love it! We also went and ate at Which Wich. Yea, be jealous, it was amazing! I love Wiches (Pun alert). That may seem like a rather uneventful way to spend a day, but it was every bit worth it.

The main reason I am wanting to post today is because I always have these things I want to put in my status, but never know how to word them so people don't get tired of reading the status. Haha.

Well, today I was thinking about things that make me smile, and how there is a whole list of people, TV shows, movies, and games that can always make me smile. I've never really been someone who doesn't smile a lot, but having so many things that make me smile make it that much easier. Maybe I'm blue, ok, not maybe, but maybe it's the overwhelming presence of Blue in my character that makes me smile at so many things.

Umm... There's not much of a point to this... Just, I really do enjoy life, and I hope that you are enjoying it too. If not, I hope everything gets better so that you can! =D

Print "NS Google Charles"

Wow, I'm falling into weekly blogs instead of daily ones... AHHH!

Ok so, I really want to speed through this last week, so get ready for it, because I promise I have more exciting stories to tell.

Ready...

Set...

Go!

This week I've gone to eat at this Italian place with Summer and got a super huge Calzone that I couldn't finish, I got in an face off with a squirrel (We were walking down this corridor, and were gonna run into each other and stopped. Then proceeded to inch forward, before walking past each other staring the other down as we walked off. Crazy squirrel!), I stayed at the library till 1:45 in the morning doing homework, I was up in my room till 1:45 doing homework, I got a 91 on my Calc test (Only one person got the question right that was worth 8 points, so I feel pretty great about it. Aside from my getting lost on that one it was easy.), I watched Glee (realizing that it's not the same watching the show in a room full of people I didn't know), I've rewritten a poem, I've read some more in The Once and Future King, I've listened to a concert on campus that was towards the end as Summer and I were walking by, and I've... Done so much more, but my stories are more important. =D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, so story number 1 is for everyone who was at Google.
In my poetry class we were doing a workshop, so someone would read a poem, and the class would critique it. Well, I was second, and it was my revised Google Magic poem (Without the Python). After everyone gave me their thoughts on it the professor asked, "Why did you decide to get rid of the Python? It added so much to it, I thought." I explained to her how when I rewrote it I was still needing to add a few more things before I could implement the Python to make the point I wanted to make.
She brought it up in class that she liked it so much! Well, of course everyone was lost. Only she had read the poem with the Python, and no one else knew it. I got the following questions:
"What is Python?" A: "A programming language."
"Can you draw us a picture?" A: "I can't really draw you a picture."
"What is a program?" A: "Well, it's the thing that tells a computer what to do. So like when you push the A button on a keyboard there is a program that tells your word processor to print out an A."
"Really? I thought it was just like A..." A: "No, it's more complicated than that."
"Can you show us an example."
Professor - "You can write on the board."
"...Ok! Well, I can do a quick, easy one."
I head up the board. (Italics are things I wrote on the board.)
"Well, say we want to add two numbers together using Python."
def
"We have to define the program, and you do that by starting with def."
def add(x,y):
"Basically the name of this is add, and it's going to take two numbers x and y and add them together."
def add(x,y):
   print
I stumbled for a second trying to decide what I would do, and pulled a Charles.
"Ok, we need a quotation mark, or no, or... no. We want the program to show us what two numbers it is adding. So we won't put a quotation."
def add(x,y):                                   add(5,7)
   print x + "+" + y                        5+7
"If you don't put the quotes then it prints the value, and by adding the values to the plus sign it shows us the number, the plus sign, then the number. For example, when we run this program we would type add, 5, 7. The program would then put 5 in place of x, and 7 in place of y."
def add(x,y):                                   add(5,7)
   print x + "+" + y                        5+7
   print "="                                     =
"Ok, I just want to make it a bit longer than necessary, so I'm going to have it print out the equal sign as well."
def add(x,y):                                   add(5,7)
   print x + "+" + y                        5+7
   print "="                                     =
   print x+y                                      12
"In this last line, since I don't have any quotes it adds the number 5, or x, and the number 7, or y, together and prints it out."
Whew! That was a lot to type out. Everyone seemed really intent when I was doing that, but I'm not sure how many people I lost, haha! Everyone was like:
"I want to know how you put that in a poem!"
So, I happened to have a copy and passed it around the class. Everyone liked it. =D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Story number 2, is less so a story, as me excited to tell you about this idea. Well, the start is a story. =P

I was sitting outside of my Calculus discussion reading The Once and Future King, and while reading I was thinking, "Ok, so I really like Merlin (Merlyn)... I wonder if I could create a character in my story who has magic kinda like Merlin, and isn't Merlin, but has a name that is witty and comes from his name..."
That's when the name Lynn hit me! I literally shot up, and gasped. I then looked around to see if anyone was laughing at me, and once I found they weren't I got a pencil and some paper to write on.

Here goes the idea part.

Ok, so it snowballed, and I figured out it won't be a part of my story but it's own story. There are two character's Lynn, and Morgan.

I want to tell you that Lynn wasn't inspiration for the name, but the more I think about it the more I can't be sure. Haha. But I can assure you it isn't supposed to be about her. Although... I think if you decide that it is when you read it it'll make the book even better, but I can't say why. =P

Ok, Lynn is a high school student, and she one day finds this magic book in her room. She has never seen it before, and so she starts flipping through it thinking it's all fake. She reads through a few spells before finding one she likes, and says it, realizing it works.

She then tells Morgan, who tries to read a spell. When nothing happens she realizes it is her that has magic, so
she starts to practice, and hone her abilities.

Oh yeah, Morgan is her best friend in the world. The only person she trusts with everything, and which is the reason why she tells him about it. He tags along for the ride, but I'm toying with writing a few chapters from his point of view. It's either going to be mostly her point of view, and some his point of view, or all his point of view. It works better if I split it though, I can create the characters better through their thoughts. =D

The majority of the book is her playing around with it, and the development of her character as she learns more about magic.

There is a twist. Oh yes, I am throwing a twist in, and I am so excited to get to November so I can start writing this for NaNoWriMo, and get everyone to read it so I can see the reactions!

The only thing is, I need to start researching what I'm going to want the spells to be. I'm going to need A ) A lot so she can play around with a ton of different spells, and B ) Them to be clever, and not just random words thrown together. Also, they won't be English, because what kind of Spells are in English? That's just silly!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well... That's what I wanted to tell you guys...
Enjoy, and Love you all!
P.S. I'm sorry if the formatting is whack, I don't have time to fix it now... But I hope it looks better than it did when I first Posted it, like 10 seconds ago.
Print "NS Google Magic"
Magic. Appropriate for this blog. Here's a quick run through of why, and then I'll go back and finish up like usually.
A) Merlin
B) Google Magic (The poem)
C) The unexplainable ways things happen.
I know, C seems like a cop-out right? Well, hopefully it'll make sense at the end of this.
Well, Summer and I didn't go swimming. It was looking like it was about to rain, so we took a rain check, and decided instead to go eat. We put our stuff in my room, and went to go eat at J2. It was good, and we had some really good laughs. After eating, we got my laptop and went to her room to look for Super Mario 64 and or play Nancy Drew.
I found Super Mario 64, and so we started that bad boy up. She played that for a while, and I got to play Chess on her computer. I finally got a good match and won. After playing a lot of those games, we had a bit of a period where nothing was going on, so when Summer's roommate came in we suggested finishing up Wayne's World. Before we actually did anything though I got a message from Kelcey who had just got her letter in the mail. It made me happy to see how excited she was. Also, I had found out the Lynn received her letter earlier in the day. =D
We were going to go get drinks, and snacks when we got an offer to watch some good old nickelodeon. We jumped at the offer, and got our drinks, then returned to watch a couple episodes of Hey Arnold! It was really fun getting a blast from the past! Haha.
We eventually called it a night, and I worked a bit on editing my poems. I was really tired, so I don't remember much of what I did. Probably not much of anything.
Well today, I woke up and texted my brother. He said that his schedule for the day was crazy so we'd hang out next week hopefully. =D
So, I turned to spending my day thinking poetry, talking to people, waiting for people, playing pokemon, playing TF2, and just all around relaxing. I went out for dinner with Summer, and some of her friends. We went to get Which Wich, and all signed our bags with Star Wars names. Summer was of course Han Solo, and I got to be Obi-Wan-Kenobi. We also had a Chewbacca, an R2-D2, and a Darth Vader. Good times, good times.
After that I returned to my room and started downloading the next episode of Merlin. While waiting for Chelsea I talked to Lynn. She made it safe, and doesn't actually move in to the school until today (Sunday.) We finally started Glee, and it was good. The last one of last season, so I can now watch Season 2. =D
I then got to make the transition between fun, good, heartwarming Glee to the dramatic, epic, amazing Merlin! It was EPIC! So very crazy! I love that show. Chelsea and I talked about it, and neither of us can wait for next week.
After watching, I got to thinking, like usual, about me. I fit Merlin's character really well. Chelsea and I discussed it, and I think somewhere along the way I adopted the hero persona as my own, and have ever since then been striving to fulfill it (subconsciously, of course.) Not that I don't want to fulfill that persona consciously, because I love it. I also re-realized why I continue to give so much of myself. If I can say 100 "Hope you have a good day"s and get one acknowledgement of making someone's day then I feel complete. As though everything is right with the world, even if just for that split second.
Well, I started this thing off, fresh off of Merlin, expecting to be able to write a lot more about what I was thinking earlier. Alas, I got really tired shortly thereafter.
I hope that was an enjoyable read for ya. =D
Till next time, love you guys!
Print "NS Google Feeling"
Well, my original title was "Detail", but I'm including more, and maybe less than I was expecting at the time of starting this on Wednesday, so I changed it.
Ok, so Tuesday through today have really flown by. It's kinda crazy. Tuesday, I went to a reception for this scholarship I got, which I found out Samantha and Sara both got. Go Google people! Umm... After that I watched the Lady Gaga episode of Glee. I liked it, because her music was actually music instead of the horrid screech that is Lady Gaga. Not a fan of her voice or the way she looks. I mean, she sacrifices sounding good to sell cds (which I don't understand), and she sacrifices looking naturally pretty to look hideous. None of this adds up. Not to mention she isn't even that good of a song writer (I apologize, but I think her songs could be ten times better), she just writes really catchy stuff, which is the only way she sells cds.
I apologize for my lack of respect for Lady Gaga, but she doesn't want respect. She just wants A) Money, and B) Attention. That's what she's in the game for, and she's succeeding I'll give her that, but I don't have to like her sexually driven music or her ridiculous outfits that no one should ever wear.
Once again, I apologize for the utter disregard for Lady Gaga. You can still like her music if you so choose, I will think no less of you. =D
After watching the Glee episode, I went to the library with some friends from my Research class and started the homework. It was cool, I really like all the people who are a part of the study group. There's Ramon (The Math Genius), Jaira, Brittney (Not sure on the spelling of her name, sorry), Suave Smooth, Jacob, Norman, and I want to say David. Not everyone is there every time, but Ramon, Enrique, Jaira, and I are pretty usual now. We got a great start on it, and didn't even have to stay out late. Haha.
I got home, and went to bed. Was tired. Oh, Sometime on Tuesday I finished up Season 3 of Criminal Minds. AHH! Why do the Seasons always end on a cliff hanger? GAH! =P
Wednesday... I can't place any specific events with Wednesday. All my regular classes.... OH! On Wednesday's I have 2 hours of poetry instead of 1. We had a guest speaker come in, and talk to us about revising poems. I liked it, but that may be because they kept talking about how for most people once they write something it's "sacred' and they don't want to change it, whereas I write something already thinking it needs some revisions and looking for people to tell me what would make it better.
She gave us back the two poems we had to turn in to her, with her notes on them. She told me to watch adjectives and cliches, and that I needed to make the reader feel things, not tell them certain things. Also, that I needed to add more information to them. Also, she really liked the Python in my poem, and even saw things in doing it that way that I didn't originally see, but they fit perfectly, and I can completely make it awesome! I'm excited to re-write these bad boys! =D
After Poetry I stole Summer away from her studies for fear that she would die of stress, and we went to go eat at Kinsolving. It was awesome! They had a Mexican Fiesta going on! =P
Wednesday night, after the Mexican fiesta dinner, I again went to meet up at the library to finish the homework for the Research class (After watching some Glee, and finishing up my Calculus of course.) We hung out, finished the homework, and then I walked Jaira back to her room since it was a ways away, and then came back to meet Ramon in JCL for a late dinner snack of strawberries, melon, and an Orange. Gotta have that Vitamin C! After that, we returned to our respective rooms (or his friends room for him), and slept.
Thursday was good. I turned in my homework for the Research class, and then got a much needed nap before going to play Tic-Tac-Toe for my discussion for Logic. I won some, I lost some, I tied some. I wasn't expecting to be in the top three who get bonus points. It's all cool though, I sorta got to meet everyone in that discussion because of that.
Then I had Calculus, which was cool. Haha. I turned in my homework, after he taught us what we'd be learning in class on Friday. I got to Skype Emily with our uber cool hats that Lynn sent us. She's too cool, and tomorrow she's leaving for college! AHH! Is much excited for her. She's gonna show college (Hogwarts) what's up (You may say it's a little late, but the train (Hogwarts Express) got delayed because the cleaning crew (elves) went on strike, and weren't cleaning the castle. So the Dean (Dumbledore) had to postpone the start. Luckily everything got fixed, and so it leaves manana.)
Ok, after the Skype on Thursday, I went to go eat with Summer again, and we got ourselves some Taco Bell, and then tried to watch Wayne's World. I think her computer was messing up, because she couldn't get it to play all the way through. We got about halfway though. They had just done the product placement scene.
Today has been a great Phoenix Friday, and after my next class Summer and I will probably go swimming. Which is cool! I might go hang with my brother this weekend. =D
The new title, "Feeling" comes from my thinking about things a lot lately. For example, when you turn 18 you're led to believe you'll feel different, but in reality it's not some feeling that just hits you. It's the same with college, you go off, start a new life pretty much, but you don't instantly feel like a more grown up person. I, personally, still feel the same. If anything though, everyday I tell myself I'm in college, about to learn something, that I will one day use to help someone, or somethingAnd then when I was writing some of my letter I realized that I really miss people a whole lot more as time goes by. It's good though! Call me crazy, but the fact that I miss everyone more everyday is actually a blessing. The only real thing I feared about college was that I would lose those connections with the people who helped make me. By missing them more, I'm not losing those connections. I feel more for everyone than I did when I left, and that makes me happy.
Ok, that's enough. I'll spare you people who read this. Haha. =D
Print "NS Google Ketchum"
AKA Print "NS Google Ketchup"
I am so uber behind it's not even funny. Last weekend was Labor Day weekend, and I spent it hanging out with my brother. It was awesome! Did my homework and played Bananagrams with him and Jessica, which was awesome! Then Sunday night we hung out at her dad's house, and had an awesome meal, and played bananagrams with her dad, step-mom, brother, and step-sister. It was a ton of fun, and her step-sister kept making up words. =P
I finally came back to UT Monday night, and then went and watched an episode of Glee with Summer before watching the ones I hadn't seen yet with Chelsea.
Stayed up late Wednesday night with a study group doing our homework. Got another package from Lynn, and one from my parents. The one from Lynn had a UT beanie she made in it, and the one from my parents had some snacks, and some cards.
I apologize for the lack of a week full of details, but I got caught up in school, and everything.
This weekend Summer, her roommate Kelcey (Not sure on spelling), and I went to this place called Toy Joy, after eating at Austin's Pizza. It was really good pizza, by the way. Also, the Toy Joy store was pretty awesome! I found a Sherlock Holmes hat! =D
After that they talked me into walking sixth street just so they could see it. It's official, if it wasn't before, that I am never going to be into the club/bar scene. It's not my thing, at all. It was fun just walking and talking to the two of them though. =P
Sunday started out with me watching Merlin Season 3, Episode 1! AHHH! It was crazy, and heartbreaking, and cool, and I missed it. I really want it to be next week so Chelsea and I can watch the second one. I spent the majority of my day playing this game on the computer with my brother and Cody. I do that a lot, haha, but it's so much fun! It's like a lego-type game. You get to build the world. I built this really cool underwater cavern that starts in one lake, and pops out the other. The cavern isn't flooded though, it's all dry land down there. Later, I built this huge tree, and hollowed it out. Cody built the sky tower/bridge, and Charles built Mt. Doom, and worked on making this uber awesome lava room (may it rest in peace.)
I got to Skype Lynn Sunday night, which was awesome! We Skyped for somewhere in the neighborhood of two hours just talking about all sorts of everything.
Monday was a typical Monday. Nothing to crazy in the morning, before lunch I did laundry, and around lunch I mailed Lynn a letter. After all my classes, including my poetry one (=D), I finished up some of the homework that I had, and waited for Summer to be ready to go to Dinner/get some Fro-Yo. We went out for Fro-Yo to celebrate Leslie's 19th birthday, and Enrique's late 18th. It was a ton of fun, and we hung out for an hour just talking about random stuff (impersonations, Antwan Dodson, you know, the good stuff.)
We got approached by this guy, who needed to call for his friend to pick him up because he had to be home soon. He was older than us, didn't have a shirt, was covered in tattoos, and we weren't sure how to respond. Enrique offered to call the cab for the guy, to which the guy said, "Here, hold my wallet, I just want to call my friend, I'm not gonna steal your phone." Enrique took the wallet, and, being Enrique, joked about stealing it. He got his phone back, and the guy got his wallet back.
SO Monday was a success. I talked to Steevie on Facebook, mailed two letters out, had Fro-Yo (with strawberries), hung out with Sara, Enrique, Summer, Leslie, Bethany, and Emily, found out Tasha likes Criminal Minds, found out Kasra started watching it because I liked it so much. Good day! =D
Is out now, gonna finish off the day, and hopefully get around to blogging about it before next week sometime. Sorry I was so behind people!
Love you guys!
Edit: I titled it Ketchum to reference this Pokemon game my brother sorta introduced me to. I never did mention it though. Haha, oh well. Maybe another time!
Print "NS Google Scarf"
So, in the envelope I found a scarf, along with a letter from Lynn (I woulda said it in the last post, but I didn't know if Emily had gotten hers yet, and I didn't want to spoil it.) It is an awesome forest green mobius strip scarf. Be jealous. =D
I helped Summer start a blog, after getting mildly rained on on Thursday. I then returned to my room, and... retired for the night, I think.
Friday was a regular day, not much... Hold up. Haha. I just remembered something. In my Logic class on Friday we watched a clip from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It was the scene with the witch. How's that for logic? =P
After class we (Sara, Mario, Enrique, and I) hung out outside of the classroom just talking about our weekends. Sara said she needed to leave, because Leslie was taking her home, and she didn't want to make her wait. Mario told us how he was gonna be catching a bus around 11PM and then getting home early morning.
When Enrique heard that Mario was taking Grey Hound he said, "Just make sure you have a knife with you." and acted out pulling out a switchblade a shanking someone. Gotta love Enrique. We eventually moved our discussion outside, and kept talking about all sorts of things in general. At one point, Enrique was saying something that involved him telling someone off at the same time someone walked into the building behind us, and he jokingly said, "That's right, walk away."
We didn't know the lady had already walked inside, so it scared us, but he assured us that she was already inside, and if she hadn't been he would have felt really bad. By this point we commented on how Sara said she needed to go, and yet she was still there an hour later talking. We finally got ourselves to leave, and I went to my room to chill and watch Criminal Minds, or something else like that.
Around 6 I went to find Summer for dinner, and while waiting watched some good old dodge ball (no wrenches involved.) After the tournament, Summer and I went to go eat asian food, I think? She had some place in mind, I'm pretty sure anyway. Afterwards, I think we went to go look at some vintage-y store.
Well, when I got back to my room I ended up Skyping Cody, and then we added Stickley and my brother to chat with. It was cool, even though there was some horrendously loud rap music coming from my end (Thanks Gilbert.) ...
We talked for an hour or longer maybe, but when we got done I went to bed. I was then woken up the next morning to the sound of my roommate's family in the room. They were picking him up for the weekend, which  was nice, even though I went to hang with my brother for the weekend.
I'll get to the weekend next post, right now I gotta go to my Logic discussion. =D
P.S. I apologize for being so behind.
P.P.S. This morning I had two dreams that I remember pretty vividly. The first one involved this sideways elevator, and we were walking through this passageway. These doors closed, trapping Chris, and the elevator started coming in to smash Chris. He was pushing against it, and I remember screaming at whoever was in charge to stop the elevator.Thankfully it stopped, and everything was alright.
The other one involved a lot of CSSI. I mainly remember Linda, because at one point she got kidnapped, and the rest of us had to find her. It was weird, and I think it turned out we were all already kidnapped or something. I'm not sure on the logistics of all that. =P
Print "NS Google Poems Set 1"
Where is Home?
The bed on which I lie,
The couch on which I sit,
The room in which these are,
That, is where my home is.
A place where I can cry,
A place where I can fit,
Where I can laugh "Har-Har",
That, is where my home is.
My home may not be constant,
A dorm while I'm in college,
Or inn while on vacation,
Yet, something is unchanging.
I'll always find, my home in you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Doubt

My heart pumped quicker as
I felt the wind rush past me.
It seemed too goo to be true,
But I believed in my heart that it was.

I'd wanted this for so long,
Dreaming about this moment.
Finally, it was here and no
Longer a dream outside my reach.

The wind and I are one,
Responding to the others whim.
It gently pulled me along,
Beckoning me further still.

"Where was the wind taking me?"
I thought as I followed.
In one doubtful moment
I fell down toward the Earth.

Darkness soon engulfed me
Along with a warm blanket.
I looked around as I came to,
It all was just a dream.

That is the new format for my Blog Titles. K Good! =D

Ok, so I got my wallet and all my things back Saturday, right? Technically.

The big things in my wallet; my checking card, the credit card, and my Student ID, had all been canceled and or deactivated. Saturday I tried to make it over to Well's Fargo to get a replacement, but I got there 20 minutes after they closed.

On Sunday, I ate the leftovers I had from Panda Express, and the doughnuts Jess (Not Google Jessica, or CSSI Jessica, but Brother's FiancĂ©e Jessica.) gave to me. Enough time has passed since, that I don't remember much of Sunday, although I'm pretty sure I didn't get out much. Haha.

Monday was a good day. I woke up early, and headed out to my Calculus class, showing up really early (Like I have a habit of doing...) I read some more in my Java book. I'm not a fan. I like:

def whatever() :
    print "Whatever I want it to print."

Instead of:

public class Whatever {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        System.out.println("Whatever I want it to print."

I miss me some Python. ALTHOUGH! I'll get to that when I get Tuesday night. =D =D

So, Monday, after I got done with Calculus (We learned more about limits. We did the rules for Continuity, and all I can say is thank you Bishop, I remembered them exactly like he taught them, and forced us to memorize for the homework, and the quiz, and the exam...) I ran over to where they fix the UT ID cards, and got my ID fixed so I could eat and stuff with it. =D

I then ended up in my Java class. Usually I end up looking for Enrique in that class, but this day I was looking around for Sara. I texted her to which she responded that she ended up in the wrong class, and couldn't leave (Later learned that it was an RTF (Radio Television Film) class, and she got to watch some videos people made.) We learned some more stuff, which was exactly what the reading said, so it didn't really do much, but I guess it helps hearing/seeing it multiple times. =D

After that, Enrique and I walked Mario over to the computer lab, where we ended up for a bit. After that, Mario, Enrique, Summer and I had lunch. That was a blast, as we laughed and joked about her new job. "I'm sorry sir, you can't park there." "That's my spot." "I'm sorry, but I need some ID."

When we left, I accidentally called Camron, and got to talk to Cici, and texted Camron since he couldn't hear me. I returned to my room, and relaxed before heading out to my Logic class. That was cool, we met up with Sara who told us how she got lost, Sara distracted a few people by showing off her new Rubik's cube, and learned some more cool Logic stuff. P then Q, P if Q, etc... =D

After that, I headed over to my Poetry class, showing up an hour early (I usually do to most classes.) Since I showed up early I decided to try and get my creative juices flowing. I ended up cranking out two poems, which I will include in a post immediately following this one.

"Are you ready?" - Basshunter (I switched from The Dear Hunter to them. In memory of all the stuff Lynn reminded me of.)

In said Poetry class, we started class with a timed writing thing. She gave us the lines "If I had to do it over again, I would have..." That poem I don't really feel like posting, because it would invite more questions than I'm willing to answer. Haha. If you want for to read it though just ask me, and I'll probably let you. =D

We also did some activity where she would say a word "Hope" and we would have our eyes closed and describe the scene as best as we could. That's all I really remember from that class, but I remember thinking that I really enjoyed it. Afterwards, I went to my room and played me some TF2 with Cody, and then I met up with Summer and her roommate Kelcey to do dinner before Summer and I went Salsa dancing.

Dinner was awesome! We laughed so hard, over an asian-only hoedown rave in their room. Haha. After that we walked around for a bit, and Summer eventually convinced Kelcey to go Salsa dancing with us. Salsa dancing was fun, we learned a lot of the basics, and some really cool advanced moves. Technically 5 moves over all. Basic forward/back, Side to Side, Spin, Cool Spin, and over the head cool stuffs. Haha!

Tuesday was rather uneventful as far as I can remember. Did my Research class which was pretty cool, and then went later in the day to get my Instant Credit Card. Got my Calculus Book finally, and the book for my Poetry class. Turned in my first Calculus homework. Cool stuffs. Haha.

Also, that night was uneventful as I'm pretty sure I spent it doing homework. I don't member dinner that night, oh wells. Haha. WAIT A MINUTE! Tuesday night, I Skyped with Emily. It was really cool, and she was helping me with my poem, which I finished. I really like it, and so does everyone who has read it. My roommate brought some friends over, so it got real weird talking on Skype, so our Skype session turned into a we're just studying with each other since neither of us was talking. Haha. She said "It's nice looking up and being like, 'There's a blue right there.'" Or something close to that. =D
(By the way, this poem will also be in the next post.)

Wednesday was back to the 8 Calc class, except I wasn't first this time. We went over Continuity, and may have actually learned it on Wednesday, I'm not sure. I got to the Java class, and slept before class. Haha! I'm sure everyone around me was laughing at me. =P I then got into my class, and found out it was cancelled. Reason Number 1 why being able to get e-mails to my phone would be helpful.

Zach, this cool kid in my Java class and my Research class, and I walked back, and ended up looking at all sorts of clubs and stuffs. I ran into Samantha, first time I'd seen her since I got here, and didn't wish her a happy birthday. =/ SO... Here's another (later) Happy Birthday! I got back to my room, and since my Logic class was also cancelled decided to do some homework. I was uber excited, because the only class left in my day was my Poetry class (Which might actually be might favorite class. Haha!)

I got to the Poetry class only about 15 minutes early, and saw this one girl who had a Yoda backpack, just like my mom has. It made me smile, so we started talking. Later found out that her, and this other girl in the class had been in a school performance of Sweeny Todd. Which made me even more happy! In our class, we ended up discussing "Carry The One" by George Watsky. It's really good, and you should look it up on YouTube. =D

After that, Summer and I went over to the Littlefield Patio Cafe, where I officially found out my UT ID was acting up. Blegh! I got a temporary one from the front desk at Jester, but didn't have time to go fix it. I don't think I did much after dinner. My evenings are either really fun, or very uneventful. Haha. =P

Not saying that if I don't mention something that you were a part of it or you wasn't important to me. I'm simply saying it may not have stuck over the couple of days it takes me to remember to write these, and all the new stuff from my classes.

Anyways, on to Thursday. I went about getting my ID fixed, which ended up taking a lot of the day, since the places they kept sending me couldn't actually fix it. I did some Logic homework, which we didn't have to turn in because the discussion was cancelled, learned some cool stuff in the Research Methods class, had lunch at Kinsolving with Sara, Leslie, and Bethany. Got my Calculus homework turned in, made it to a Freshman Research Initiative picnic, found out Enrique is no longer in my Java class, and convinced Summer to go with me to Texadelphia since the food was half-priced.

It was good food, and she did this test she learned today which says I'm extroverted. Which, I guess is sorta true, in a sense. When we left, we realized it was pouring. So, we went into Urban Outfitters and got an Umbrella. =D

We got back to Jester, only mildly wet, and I checked the mail one last time. Turns out, that I had an envelope. I opened it, and found the coolest... I'll tell you later. This post is long. =D
